Free Graphics/Photo Program
Adobe Photoshop is a great program, but, if you’ve looked at buying it recently you know what "sticker shock" is all about. Many times it is out of reach of the budget of a non-profit.
A great option with a great price tag is a program called Gimp. Developed as an open source project it has much of the same functionality as Photoshop but is a completely free download. You can’t beat that price! There are also plugins and modules available (again free) that further extend the programs capabilities.
So, if you need a photo editing/graphics program and your budget won’t allow Photoshop, try it, you’ll like it.
