Here is another great free resource - Church Computing Magazine.
This magazine showcases a number of new technologies and services and how they impact the church. This month they have an article on a church text messaging service (churchtextingmanager.com) - only a buck to try it for the 2 months and you get 300 texts. Now if someone would just do that in Canada (or maybe they do and I just haven’t come across it.)
They also have a great article on MS Power Toys for XP (for those of us a step behind) including an image resizer that could save opening Gimp or Photoshop to do a simple resizing of a photo.
On a more sobering note, they also have an article about how FaceBook and Twitter can hurt children’s morals and grades.
It’s worth checking out - and best of all - it’s free!
