Killing Cockroaches
Just finished reading “Killing Cockroaches” by Tony Morgan.
I’ve followed Tony’s blog for a while now and have the “Simply Strategic” books which he coauthored along with Tim Stevens (they are worth the money).
The title of the book comes from Tony’s experience in killing cockroaches while holding a high level management position. It is a euphemism for “responding to the urgent stuff in our lives that keeps us from doing the important stuff in our lives.”
The book is written in a style similar to blog posts and contains some great leadership nuggets.
